Precis Engineering led an in-house team of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineers and coordinated with the owner's architectural consultant for two new oral solid dosage manufacturing suites. The project involved the installation of fluid bed dryers, granulators, bin blenders, bin lifts, drum lifts, bowl inverters, and tableting/compression machines. Key components of the project included:

• Robust finishes for full wash-down
• White and yellow lighting systems for photo-sensitive materials
• Low humidity rooftop HVAC delivery system
• New 700-ton air-cooled chilled water plant
• Dust collection systems
• Wet pipe sprinkler system modifications
• Segregated, cGMP-compliant waste collection system with sealed trench and floor drains
