On April 1, 2022, Precis celebrated its 17th year in business. The last year has been an eventful one, filled with new teammates, exciting opportunities, and a regained sense of post-pandemic connection with our colleagues and industry peers. Our continued growth earned Precis spots on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Best Places to Work and Soaring 76 lists for the second consecutive year. In July, we hosted the Second Annual Sam R. Colucci Memorial Golf Outing honoring the legacy of our late partner and dear friend Sam Colucci. And in January, we announced a merger with longtime collaborator, Arcus Design Group. The merger established Precis as a comprehensive architecture and engineering practice, realizing our goal to provide complete facility design with continuity from architecture and planning through engineering and operations.
Within the last year, Precis welcomed 23 new employees, including the four former Arcus partners who were named Precis principals, bringing our staff total to 120. We completed 425 projects covering the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, higher education, industrial, commercial, and residential markets. We founded the collaborative networking group, Women@Precis. And we enjoyed re-engaging with our industry friends via events for ISPE, the ACE Mentor Program, Cradles to Crayons, and more.
