On Earth Day, we’re reflecting on what sustainability means to us and what we’re doing to help our clients succeed in a sustainable way. At Precis, we integrate sustainability, energy and resource efficiency into all of the engineering design services we provide across various markets, including Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Corporate Real Estate and Higher Education. This integration is crucial to helping our clients improve their triple bottom line, and it is how we contribute to the betterment of our environment.
We feel it is our responsibility, and privilege, to move the world forward in a way that doesn’t take away from future generations. We believe a successful project is designed and executed in a way that brings value to all stakeholders, including the Planet. At Precis, we know that the cleanest kilowatt hour is one that never has to be used and our work has prevented thousands of tons of CO2 emissions each year through the integrated approach we take towards driving energy efficiency and sustainability into our engineering service offerings. As thought leaders in the industry, Precis recently published a chapter in the Wiley publication, Process Architecture in Biomanufacturing Facility Design, on addressing sustainability in biomanufacturing facility design.
