Precis provided design and engineering services for a 20,000 SF expansion to the existing August Bioservices facility in Nashville, TN. Augmenting existing on-site fill/finish capabilities, the expansion includes two new filling suites with automatic filling lines, incorporating full isolator technology. One of the filling suites is fully equipped with a vial/syringe filling line and connected lyophilizers. The second filling suite is designed to accommodate one combination filling. The expansion also includes final product inspection, metrology lab, maintenance shop, and final product warehouse with new shipping/receiving facilities.

As the project site can accommodate expansion beyond the current project, the new facility has been planned for future growth at August Bio.  Construction is currently underway with completion expected in the fourth quarter of 2023.
