Precis provided architecture and engineering services to develop the programming for multiple buildings within the Center for Breakthrough Medicines Innovation Labs Complex in King of Prussia, PA.
The programming included the following manufacturing and testing areas:
Precis was responsible for defining the requirements from the users to be able to develop a conceptual floor plan and equipment layout. Project tasks included participating in programming meetings with the facility users to walk through the programming process and define the requirements of the space. In addition to the floor plan, room cards were developed to define equipment, utility, electrical, and other design requirements needed within each room.
Project deliverables included programming questionnaire, programming layout, equipment list with consumption requirements, and the development of room cards. After concept design was complete, Precis continued to provide design support to the architectural and MEP teams along with our GMP expertise.
