Construction Update: J.M. Huber Innovation Center
Construction of the research and development lab, or Innovation Center, for J.M. Huber Corporation is well underway. The construction team is currently laying the final sheets of our metal roof/wall system, and with this, the design truly begins to show itself. The rigid standing seam panels will soon start to reveal moments of natural elements juxtaposed to the metal skin exemplifying Huber Agriculture’s legacy of stewardship to the natural environment.
JM Huber Miller Chemical Innovation Center
Precis provided architecture and full MEP/FP engineering services to create a new state of the art Innovation Center in Hanover, PA. The new ground-up construction is the first phase of a master planning effort that involved a wholistic campus concept redesign. The new Innovation Center will be home to three new Research and Development laboratories with innovative technology and equipment for their fertilizer manufacturing business.
Confidential Data Center
Precis completed the design and documentation for a new data center in Ft. Washington, PA.  Services by Precis were initially focused on development of a support and white space program followed by a review of the existing 200,000 SF facility to determine optimal location of the new data center and associated technical/administrative spaces.
IDI Northeast Distribution Center
Precis Engineering provided MEP detailed design utilizing BIM modeling energy modeling and construction administration services for a 1.4 million SF warehouse and 44,000 SF office space.
Saint-Gobain - Building 3 Renovation
Precis Engineering collaborated to complete a fast-track materials science research and development center for Saint-Gobain, a division of CertainTeed. Precis provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire production design and construction administrative services for the project.
AmerisourceBergan Warehouse/Distribution Center
Precis Engineering designed an approximately 317,520 square feet (sf) finished warehouse/distribution center contained within a larger warehouse/distribution facility containing a total of 565,320 sf (the “Building”). The finished portion of the facility is an air-conditioned warehouse/pharmaceutical distribution center with an office component, warehouse, distribution area, utility spaces, support spaces and tenant material handling equipment all of which will support the tenant operations. The remaining portion of the facility (the “Building”) consists of approximately 247,800+/- sf of shell space for future tenant fit-out.

The Dow Chemical Company (DOW) relocated its entire Spring House Technical Center to Collegeville, PA.  The newly leased space includes more than 800,000 SF across five floors and five buildings.  The Collegeville facility was extensively renovated as required to accommodate a phased relocation and seamless transition of users.
